Just watched Donut and found this

In the last mission, your plane gets hacked and you get sent into some sort of cyberverse where everything is just flashing lights and lines.

I never seen anything so eplipsy inducing in a game before, my vision had to readjust to normal life after finishing it.

And that damn mission inside that building where you have to fly past closing doors and tight corridors? what a hell was that shit? I assume they tried to one-up their traditional canyon missions, but that got annoying quick.

They also introduce bosses in this game, and I had a really hard time hitting them for some reason, I must have spent a good 20 minutes on each boss fight, and they stack all of the boss fights in the last few mission.

I appreciate the ambitious mission designed compared to the simple ones from 1 and 2, and while I generally enjoyed the game as a whole, the last 5-6 missions were rough in parts. I can understand why they wanted to reboot the franchise after this one.

I know I can play the older AC games on PC, but it broke literally today so that’s out of the question. I’m left with only my Xbox One. I’m going through a tough time and I need some distractions.

I wanted to get the European copy but it appears to be gone.

so i have played every single player mission on easy, normal and hard, yet i can't seem to see ace difficulty, if i remember correctly unlocking it in ac x was by beating all missions on hard, but that didn't work for me on joint assault, I'm playing it on ppsspp, usa rom.

Howdy, I have been facing a lot of issues with this specific mission because of the amount of time it takes to actually get a clear ID on your targets, and even on the easiest difficulty the SAM sites simply give a second's worth of warning before hitting me, and of course, no checkpoints until the supply ships launch means that the last AA gun sends me back to the beginning of the mission.

I have used the Su-30SM, F-22, Su-57, X-02s, and the F-15C with PLSLs, nothing seems to be working, any advice or recommended builds?

This past month I've been playing through all the PS2 games after discovering the series through AC7 earlier this year, and I've just completed Zero (Knight style), concluding my PS2 AC marathon.

Well, this was easily my favorite game in the trilogy.

Gameplay-wise, there's not much to say, I mean, it's mostly the same as the other PS2 games, with the notable thing being a focus on boss fights. I'm kind of two minds about this, because while it's really cool how this game fleshes out the enemy squadrons you fight, some of those fights dragged out a bit (though that mostly comes down to me needing to git good, lol.)

Story/character wise, sure, it's a lot less involved than AC5, but Pixy really makes this game. He's both a breath a fresh air after the squad in 5, and an amazing boss fight at the end, because it feels personal. The last two missions are chef's kiss.

Also, I know many people dislike PJ for not being as effective as Pixy, but I actually liked him quite a bit. He's a nice contrast to Pixy as a character (and possibly you, depending on how you play), and I genuinely felt sad at his death.

If I had any complaints about AC0 it'd probably be how out of left field Excalibur comes. You find out it exists one mission, and it's unceremoniously destroyed the next, like they had to check "fight a superweapon" off their list. It's a shame, too, because it's just so cool. It deserved one or two more missions dedicated to it.

What next? Well, I could replay this game to see how other ace styles change things. I also got Project Wingman on sale a while ago, so there's that. I'm probably not playing AC6, since I don't have an Xbox, and I heard it doesn't emulate well. I am pretty intrigued by AC3, though.

PS: Even after playing through the trilogy, AC7 is still my favorite, lol (Zero comes close, though.)

New guy here, I only have a xbox series x but i only have played fires of liberation and skies unknown, how can i play the old ones and what order do you recomend?
