I guess I'm more in shock than anything else. I don't have much going on... been fitting into an A and B cup depending on the size. Finally measuring as a 36E and not sure how this is possible with really no boobs to report. Anyone else E cup but flat chested??
I’m gonna buy a sports bra soon and I don’t know what size to get I’m 5’11 175 pounds
I'm a guy but I'm asking for my girlfriend. She is a 34 G and is having a hard time finding bras. I was wondering if yall had any like good brands or websites or just anything for her. She loves green so I'm trying to get her some new bras so I would love yalls help with websites or stores. Thank yall so much!
I did my measurements from the guide and it came to a 34DDD. I've always wore a 36 or 38 C or D, so I want to buy a couple new bras in this new size. I'm having trouble finding affordable bras in that size though, that aren't minimizing styles. I usually buy bras on Amazon. I tried a Fruit of the Loom in 34DDD and hated how it fit. I usually prefer bras with an underwire. Any suggestions on where to shop?
Has anyone bought for Popilush or any other shapewear companies and had a good experience with comfort and quality?
For reference: 36G
So my measurements are 37/36/34.5/45/50/46 in inches and 96/94/90/116/123/117 in cm. The inches one gave me a 36J/K and the cm one gave me a 38I (in US sizing). I'm currently wearing a 34I, which doesn't fit quite right (even though it fit great a month ago when I bought it), and before that I wore a 36G. The 36G band size was way too big - I was wearing the tightest hook, and my boobs were slipping out from under the cups, and the friction was giving me a very bad rash.
So I'm pretty sure 34 is the right band size, even though my measurements say otherwise apparently?? Does that mean my actual size is about a 34K??? Also, how on earth would my size have gone from a 34I to a 34K over the course of a month? I know how a bra is supposed to fit (I've lurked here for a few years), and there's no way I would've bought a bra that doesn't fit properly, especially with how expensive they are. I made a post a few weeks ago about it and determined it was because of my period, but now I'm at about the same time in my cycle as I was when I bought the bras, and they still don't fit right??? The band is fine but the gore is a bit away from my sternum so it's definitely the cup size. I'm just confused, and want to know what's up with my measurements, and how can a bra size change so fast??? (And I'm 100% not pregnant btw).
Sorta a quick rant. I was really hoping to finally get approved for a breast reduction but my insurance denied me both times. I can do one more appeal with the doctor outside of my insurance but at this point I’m just tired of the heartbreak.
I had a feeling this would happen so I told myself I would buy new bras regardless of the appeal decision. I need some brands that would fit a US 42G (my last size check so anything in that size range available). I’m not a fan of any moulding in the cups (no foam, makes me sweaty). Please help. I’m trying to find something so the crippling disappointment doesn’t overwhelm me and I’m hoping finding a bra that’s comfortable and makes me look less frumpy will help
As you can probably assume from the title, I am quite frustrated. The last time I had a bra that at fit me was a long time ago. I am 18, and I think the last time I had a bra that fit me was when I was like 12 or 13.
My problem is that my cup size is small, but I have a VERY broad chest. Since band sizes and cup sizes go up proportionally, I have never been able to find a bra that fits both ways. It either fits perfectly on the band size and the cups are HUGE, or the cups fit but I can’t even get the bra clasped in the back.
I have tried AAA cups from Lulalu and they’re STILL too big. The size was a 40AAA in the teeshirt bra style. The cups fit well when I’m standing, but they gap really bad when I sit down. The band size is also slightly too small for me, as the wire digs quite a bit.
My band measurement is around a 40 (I could maybe go around an inch bigger, but a 40 is just what the measuring tape read) while my bust measurement is a 41.5-42. I took these measurements myself, so they may not be entirely perfect, but it’s the best I have. Every time I put my measurements into a size calculator, it says I’m a 40B. I just have trouble understanding how that’s possible if the Lulalu 40AAA was too big. Sometimes the calculators even say my size doesn’t exist.
The only way I get by at this point is wearing bralettes. I would really love to be able to get an actual bra instead of just bralettes. I would love any recommendations you all may have on brands, styles, etc. The more specific the better. Thanks!
Hi all! Relatively new to my ABTF journey but I’m already pleasantly surprised at the results. To set the stage, measurements are: 30.75 / 30.25 / 29.25 // 34 / 37 / 34.75. Recommended size is 32D. I know I’m center full, probably bottom full, but confused on the rest of the shape.
I tried on 3 bras so far, 2 of which are very promising. Both are great upside down and backwards. I also tried on one of the below in 30DD and it was definitely too tight as a “cape.”
Skarlett Blue Minx Balconette in 32D (blush/nude bra): I love the feel of this, it’s much more comfortable to me than the Entice. Has the comfort of a tshirt bra to me, if that makes sense. But I wonder if I’m too shallow for the top of the cups? When you can see it gap when I do a side photo, and this is on the bigger breast. Looking down, when I have good posture, the larger breast (left) looks like it’s overflowing by just a hair. I’m hesitant to try a 32DD since the smaller breast probably needs a little help in the cup as it is. When I have poor posture, the larger breast fits just right, but the smaller needs even more help.
Skarlett Blue Entice Balconette in 32D (nude/navy photo): in theory, I love this one too. After comparing the photos of the Minx with this, the Entice may be better for my shape? My biggest concern with this one is that I don’t feel secure in it. I feel like I’m about to fall out of it. Is that just because I’m not used to the style, or is something going on with the fit that I haven’t pinpointed? Also, the lace on the smaller cup (right when looking down) falls away from my breast ever so slightly. Would a small little pad/lift help there? I’m concerned about even trying it since I already don’t feel secure.
I also tried a Panache Envy that I liked in theory, but I think the wires were too narrow and/or short under the armpit.
All that said, where do I go from here? Any shape insights or recommendations on what to try next if neither of these really work for me? All input and advice is appreciated!!
The calculator put me at a 26G. I had a hard time finding bras in my size and saw a previous recommendation to try 28DD/28E but another person later corrected and said my sister size is 28FF. All of the 28 bands feel uncomfortably tight and I’m very aware of them. The wire digs in on all of them to the point of pain and I want to rip them off.
Other relevant info: I haven’t worn wired bras in years (due to them always being uncomfortable) and have never tried a band this small. It’s worth mentioning I have fibromyalgia and experience chronic pain and heightened sensitivity. My traps are especially sensitive and give me trouble with bra straps which is why I’ll conceded to loose unsupportive bras or no bra lately. I’ve never owned a bra with a properly fitting gore (it always floats a little) so I’m hoping this will alleviate the strain on my traps/shoulders.
Past bras: fitters usually put me in 32 bands:
Measurements (cm): 68.5 66 60.5 85.5 90 85
Looking for an everyday bra preferably lined/molded just so the nips aren’t on display. Here are the bras I’ve ordered:
Freya Idol 28DD - cups are too small 28E - it’s a better fit I’m wondering if it’s still slightly small. Gore touches sternum (this has NEVER happened before!) but it presses into my breast tissue a little. The biggest issue is the wires are painful- the band is less noticeable when it’s backwards & upside down but I still feel the wires. Should I try another size? 28FF - cups are too large with space in the upper cup area
Freya Deco Molded Plunge - The wire still digs in when I turn the bra backwards and upside down. I think there’s a shape mismatch because the top sticks out. What shape should I look for? 28DD - all kinds of wrong. Cups have wrinkles and I spill out on the top. Sits on breast tissue on the sides. Cups are too small and possibly the wrong shape. I included pictures for reference in case there are any helpful clues. 28 E - closest fit but feel like my chest is pushing down on cups and 28FF - cups are way too large and there’s gaping. downright painful wire esp at the ribs.
Panache Tango Balconnet - It think there’s a shape mismatch 28DD - cups are too small with my chest spilling out but it’s also a pointy shape with wrinkled fabric. Much stretchier band is less uncomfortable. Wires don’t hurt 28E - wire is uncomfortable/painful. Wrinkling
Panache Envy Balconnet 28FF - wire and gore painful with gore digging in. Cups are too large with wrinkled fabric

Hii, I've been searching for the right bra size since forever, but every bra always seems to be too big, as there are gaps in the front, my chest is revealed when I bend over and my bras often slip upwards, even when the band is tight. Normally, I wear A cups and either 74 or 80, which already does not fit perfectly, but now I've lost some weight so it's even worse now. My measurements are: loose underbust: 70cm snug underbust: 69cm tight underbust: 67cm standing bust: 75cm leaning bust: 77cm lying bust: 76cm The calculator recommended 60C/D. My bust is rather small and not really round but like triangles (???), so I think most bras also don't fit me because of the form of the cup?? I also prefer push ups, so can anybody make a suggestion on which bra size I should try and where to buy push ups in the EU in that size, which maybe have more snug cups?
Thank you in advance 🫶
Hi!
It's my first time buying new bras in a while. I really like the fit and comfort of the Natori Liquid Full Fit Contour Underwire Bra (linked here). Based on the ABTF beginner's guide I think the bra fits pretty well.
However, after a couple of hours of wear I did notice that the band was a little uncomfortable (nothing too noticeable, but a little tight). When I removed the bra the skin around my chest where the underwire was sitting was very slightly indented. Is this normal for a new bra? Will the fabric loosen overtime or should I size up on the band (go for a 32C instead of a 30D)?
I am looking for a very compressive sports bra that will help flatten/smooth things out without being too restrictive for exercise. Its simply an aesthetic preference. I do yoga sculpt and run. I am about a 34B.
I’d love to start running again now that they’re smaller and not as flip floppy!
Hi everyone getting closer to my perfect bra thanks to everyone here!! I posted before that Skarlett Blue Entice Unlined Balconette was a perfect fit but I don’t like the way the lace feels/looks under shirts and really want to find something similar that I can wear with t shirts. My ABTF size is 30D but with Skarlett Blue I find 32C fits better. I like bras with really wide straps so my armpit doesn’t get cut into.
Skarlett Blue Women's Minx Balconette T-Shirt Bra 32C https://ibb.co/album/sKDWqg
This was nearly a perfect fit. Unfortunately the lace and seam shows clearly through shirts, but I like that it has some lining (unlined entice was my other perfect fit). I am wondering if this is an acceptable amount of back bulge? I know I am already sister sizing, I just hate the way the back bulge looks under shirts. I tried it later on the second hook and it felt perfect to me.
Cleo Lexi Balconette - 30D https://ibb.co/album/WsLCcG
So pretty but felt kind of thick/uncomfortable. Didn’t like the material. When I scooped and swooped it looked like slightly quad boob, but after a minute there was gapping. I think maybe the cups are a little too narrow? Band felt tight, wondering if I should try 32C?
Skarlett Blue Women's Minx Lace Convertible T-Shirt Bra - 32C https://ibb.co/album/f8GVSJ
I love the material of this bra, so comfortable and exactly what I’m looking for. Very close, but had some quad boob. I find myself wishing the gore was higher, what does that mean fit wise? I really don’t want a tighter band than this, it felt supportive, to fix the quad boob issue should I try 32D?
Any other bra suggestions?
Loose under bust: 29 // snug under bust: 28.5 // tight under bust: 27.5 // standing bust: 32.5 // leaning bust 33.5 // laying bust: 33
I’m trying to find out what size a 28E UK is in EU size, specifically for Freya bras. I’m ordering of an european site which only displays EU sizes.
The calculator says it’s 60H in EU but when i look at Freya size conversion chart it’s 60F??? I’m confused as to which one I should listen to.
I bought the bravissimo satine in a few sizes, settled on 38FF (calculator recommended size) (39, 36, 35, 46, 47, 45), and the band feels okay (its around me, moves very little) but when I put the cups on it feels a bit tighter, and I have to push it back up every so often. There’s also some wrinkling at the bottom of the cup, near the center gore of the wire. It also seems like when it does fall down, it likes to dig into my ribs at the bottom of the wires, towards the center of each wire (think the bottom of the letter U).
I tried a 38G, but no amount of scooping would make me properly fill it out.
Edit: am I shit outta luck for finding an off the rack bra that fits?
This is the Panache Ana plunge in 60G/28G
My cup wrinkles at the bottom If i do scoop and swoop the tissue goes out of the cup so i put them back in. I like the cleavage look, so im unsure if i would still have cleavage if i would size up Band fits great Gore lays flat
I have narrow roots, full on bottom and center full
I also have the panache envy in 60G and that fits perfectly (no pics of that bra)
Hey friends, Calculator recommends 30d/30dd but i struggle to find bras that don't gap due to my breast shape (snoopy/mild tubular). I'd say a 1/4 to 1/5 based on this. I'm trying to find some budget friendly options that are easily available in the US. I prefer padded/pushup to make them look more round!
In cm, my measurements: Loose underbust: 77 Snug:76 Tight:74 Standing:85 Leaning:91 Lying:87
Thanks for your time ❤️
Hi all! I recently found a bra size that works well for me (US 30I) but have really struggled with finding this size in stores in the US- would anyone know of any stores in Berlin or Leipzig that may carry that size (I think 65J?) readily in stores? I’m traveling soon and am hoping for better luck there. The only store that I could even find a bra my size in the US was Nordstrom, and they only had the same bra in 3 colors. Thank you all :)
Calculator gave me 26D/DD but no one sells that so I got a 28C Tatiana T-shirt Bra and Microfibre Plunge Bra from Boux Avenue. Both of the straps dig into my armpits. I think the cup is too shallow/widespread for my frame. The straps are too spread out if that makes sense. It needs to be closer together. It’s just incredibly uncomfortable to wear. 28C is already killing me so idk how I could fit in a 26D, so maybe I have the wrong size?
I have a 28C from The Little Bra Company. It’s too tight, but fits great if I use an extender. Maybe I’m actually a 30B? Anyways sorry for the rant. I’m just so frustrated.
Please let me know if you guys know any bras that could remedy my grievances. Here are some pictures for reference! Thank you guys!

Hi! I've been at my wit's end trying to buy A Bra That Fits after an augmentation about a year ago, and was delighted to discover this subreddit today.
My six measurements (in inches) are:
Those bust measurements are so very even and round compared to before, and that accords with my new shape which I am very satisfied with. Findings based on the info in the Beginners Guide:
I may have migrated breast tissue as I've been wearing too-small cups for years to try to get more extreme pushup. I can feel the "axillary tail" or whatever very clearly, but there is no clear line between breast tissue and underarm fat, and this makes it hard to judge whether a wire is narrow or broad on me, but I take it that, at least for today, I need to err on the broad side with my wires.
Another important fact is that I'm very tall, a fraction of an inch shy of 6 feet tall, with a long torso that is slim for how long it is but still quite large, and I generally wear all of my bras (other than the VS ones which have longer shoulder straps usually) with the shoulder straps out as far as they go. So if I say the straps are too tight, it is not because the band is too big and I'm overtightening the straps.
I'd like to start buying the right bra, and I'm willing to follow this sub's method, but I'd like to run over some recent experience and see what more experienced redditors suggest. I imagine my issues with cup fill and gore could well be resolved by trying out a few 38E (DDD)'s, in the four brands I describe in the list below. But I'm less certain how to navigate the issue of wire breadth and length, certain that I'm running into some trouble in that area which is not caused by bra size but rather by brand and style. And shoulder strap tightness is an issue, as I mentioned, which I also doubt is caused by large bands, but rather just restricts which brands and sizes I can reasonably wear. Finally I'm curious what y'all think about how my post-augmentation shape (even top vs bottom, more center than side full, probably slightly on the shallow side due to root size but still quite projected) has impacted my experiences with the bras I describe below, and is likely to impact my experience with my next bras.
So the questions, to restate them, are:
I need to wrap up my bra purchases within the near future as my partner and I are facing the likelihood of having to leave our home and my career due to safety and political BS within the next few months, and there will not be shopping budgets after that for a while. This has been going on long enough!
The unicorn bra (which does not exist in the real world) would be front-close but u-back (like the two Vanity Fair ones in the list below), or sectioned, or in some other configuration that pulls sideboob forward, increases lift and cleavage without being pushup or heavily padded. But I'll settle for the right fit, and I thought I was getting that when I worked with a Panache fit consultant! Nope!
Some of the bras I've purchased in the past few months, and how they're doing:
Thank you so very much!
I'm hoping that I'm not the only one with this problem, but I have athletic shape breasts and my nipples point straight forward to the point that it's almost difficult to find a bra that covers my nipples. Anyone else and any bra suggestions??
Hi all, I just discovered that my true bra size is 34FF after using the bra calculator. I always thought my neck pain was due to having heavier breasts, but it turns out I was wearing the wrong size (36D). I’m graduating next month and in need of a good strapless bra that actually fits.
Here are my measurements: Loose - 35; Snug - 33; Tight -31 Standing - 41: Leaning - 44; Lying -42
I’m currently in the UK and still not too familiar with the bra brands here. Can anyone recommend a comfortable strapless bra? I’m looking for something supportive, as I definitely need a bra that’ll stay up and provide good support for the day.
Thanks in advance!
i couldn't find a 40b/40a bra anywhere even on inclusive websites. please give me recommendations, i've been wearing sports bras with no support for my whole life 😞
Hi, I’m a kinda wide-chested (5’8”, ~200lb - but kinda fit, I used to lift a lot though now the weight I’ve gained has moved to mostly my tummy) 31 AMAB guy that likes to cross dress and feel cute/sexy at times, and have the support of my wife. Hey, sexuality/gender is a spectrum, right?
Anyhow. I’ve always been nervous about trying to fit bras, but got the gumption to do so the other day using the calculator here and searching through previous AMAB people’s posts and reading their experiences. Based off the measurements I took (which varied by 0.5-1 in per time I took them), the calculator told me 38C/D, or would sometimes give 40 for my band size. I also found recommendations that generally AMAB people may best like Demi or balconette style bras and to try push-up. I’d also read advice for some AMAB people that they should try a cup size down from the calculator if they fit isn’t right the first time.
So all that in mind, I ordered an AdoreMe Clairabella in 38C. The band size feels pretty good (though my experience is limited to trying my wife’s very old, clearly too small 36B sizes), but the top has a decent bit of gapping. It’s about 1.5 finger width of gap or so, and of course I think this is mostly due to not having a lot of breast material / having a pretty wide/mostly flat chest.
So I’m thinking of trying to find a different one that is much more square neckline, but also going to either 38B or even to 38A if I can find it.
Does that sound right? Should I go for a 40B instead? Thank you!
My measurements (I took these a couple times, and got some slight variation (0.5-1in), but these are I think my best take):
Loose: 41
Snug: 39.5
Tight: 38.5
Standing: 43
Leaning: 44
Lying: 43
Hi ABraThatFits community!
I’ve been working on figuring out my bra fit and could use some advice from the community. Here are the details:
My measurements confirm that my bra size fluctuates between a 34F to a 36E (UK sizing). This time the calculator affirmed by measurements. It suggests 34E/F as a starting size while recommending 36DD/E, the sister size, for potentially better comfort.
Recently, I bought a 34E Freya Deco UW Molded Plunge Bra on a whim, and now I’m trying to determine if it’s a perfect fit or if it might actually be a bit too small. Also, forgive me if I’m still a bit off. I scooped and swooped as much as possible.
Here are my updated measurements:
The bra feels comfortable overall, though I’m uncertain if there’s any noticeable spillage. The underwire sits securely without causing discomfort or digging in, and the band feels snug yet not too tight. How can I tell for sure if this bra fits properly?
I’d love to hear your thoughts, especially if you’ve been in a similar situation.
Thanks in advance for your help! 😊
Y'all. I always struggled with my bras and finding a happy medium between comfort and having the ladies stay where I put them in the cups. This went on for years, because I was "fit" for a bra and told my size was 38D, though some 36DDD seemed to be better. Going through the process of getting my actual size with measuring and getting fit at a real bra store was a chore because there were none very close to me, but I'm wearing my first bra in a size that fits and there are no words. I keep looking at myself in the mirror when I walk by one because I feel great. There's actually support where it needs to be so my back doesn't bother me doing things like washing dishes, and the girls aren't halfway to my waist. Turns out I'm actually a 34H, not a 38D, and though trying to explain bra sizing to Hubs while shopping was a lot frustrating, he's totally ok with whatever the new size is because he says they look "wow". 😉
I have a bra that I love. It's a 34B. I've gained some weight and would like to bring the band to a 36. It's mail order only. I can't decide if my best chance of a good fit is to keep the B or go down to A. I accept that it's probably a 50/50 shot. Thoughts?
Hi all! I have been browsing this subreddit for a few days while I waited for my online order from VS (I wanted something that I wouldn't feel bad returning... lol) and was really hopeful that this calculator would finally help me find *cue music* A Bra That Fits. My calculator entries are (in inches):
Loose UB: 32.5
Snug UB: 32
Tight UB: 31.5
Standing B: 35
Leaning B: 35.5
Lying Bust: 36
Which spit out a 32 C/D. I've actually stopped wearing bras for the past several years because I just can't find one that fits, but my "normal" size previously was 36a. And sometimes the cups were too large and it was just.. sad lol. I'm about 10lbs lighter now so I assume I've lost some volume.
I bought a few 32C's to try, ignoring my "sticker shock", and yeah... the band is just so tight and uncomfy. Cups are too snug too, there is spillage. Luckily I bought a 34B in the same style. I scooped and swooped. Cups are not too snug (if anything, one is a tiny bit loose) but the band is still a teensy bit tight on the loosest setting, I get a little bit of a fat roll on my back near my underarm.
My question is... do I go back to 36a? I've read on this subreddit that if your underbust is 32, then you should not be wearing something that's drastically bigger, like a 36. I'm curious about 34C as well.
Any advice is appreciated! I do have medium-quality pics, just not sure how to upload.
