I was designing an effect chain rack to play differenct styles of rums from a simpler in a sequence of effects that is triggered randomly by an LFO.
The sequence of effects is not being triggered by the mapped chain selector how it should.
Can anyone inspect this effect rack and diagnose a solution?
Hey could i have someones licence im trying to get into the music industry but cannot get a ableton licence i would appreciate it if someone could give me their license to try it out thank you🙏.

A snare roll generator using a single arpeggiator note for the trigger. Example project in the zip.
The link to the rack is here: https://www.studiobrootle.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/1-Studio-Brootle-IDM-Monosynth.zip
Hope you can use this in your music - it's a fm synth for 'idm' / 'autechre' type sounds. I know both these terms are thrown about too much to describe experimental music, but you know what I mean :)
It's a rack that uses the velocity Midi module to generate random velocities, and then this makes the FM amount random for some glitched out fm sequences.
There's a post explaining how it works here, with the macro controls etc: https://www.studiobrootle.com/how-to-make-an-idm-beat-aphex-twin-autechre-influenced/
Can not find vst for sound like she used (at the beginning of track synthesizer like 80s electro piano)

For Kontakt or omni or any.
The rack only works in 12.1 and up (using the clipper and new saturator) it also has one non stock plugin, Khs Transient designer which is free and I’ll leave a link below.

I’ve tested this on hip-hop, edm, and live drums. Interest to hear if this tool works for any of you! 🙏

Hi,
Here's a couple of garage presets I made hope you find use for them....
Ableton Wavetable UK Garage Reese Bass Preset: https://www.studiobrootle.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Dark-Garage-Reese-Bass-Studio-Brootle.zip
Ableton Operator UK Garage FM Wub Preset: https://www.studiobrootle.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/FM-Garage-Wub-Studio-Brootle.zip
They're fairly self explanatory tbh, but there's a video of them in use here...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kwfjvD9paQ
hey if anyone is interested in Producing Disco House, i've started uploading some videos on Disco House & French House production (incl Ableton file & Racks), https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6jLV6-etI8
I'm trying to get a 16 levels velocity rack made in ableton (like the MPC and push 2), this person had it done but the links for download aren't working. I've tried making it myself but the instructions aren't very clear to me.
Here is the link
I've looked all over and can't seem to find a rack that emulates this so I made one. It generally does the same thing as the DJM "Spiral" effect. SCHROEDS DJM Spiral Effect Rack
This is influenced by tracks like Jaydee Plastic dreams and MK etc, that famous organ sound...
The rack is here: https://www.studiobrootle.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Studio-Brootle-Deep-House-Organ.zip
It's bascially some stacked, tuned sinewaves in Operator.
There's a video on how to use it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCMeSF59oHk
Hope you find use for it. Any questions let me know :)
You can get the racks directly here: https://www.studiobrootle.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Studio-Brootle-Operator-Epic-Pads-Rack-4x-Filters.zip
It's set up so you just need to play one note into it, and it will convert it into a minor chord. The sound comes from the effect chain being split into a few different audio signals and processed with different filters and lfos for a big swelling pad.
There's a video here how to use the rack: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7KI1IRf0iE
Hope you find these useful. Any questions, please let me know...
Thanks :)
Hey everyone!
I am building my second rack setup for live shows and I am running into the same issue I had with the first build (which I ultimately gave in and compromised on); I can't find the right size sliding shelves to fit what I need. Does anyone know of any places that will build a custom sliding rack shelf for me? The dimensions I need are: 11.75" rail-to-rail depth and it is for normal 19" gear (across). Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Hi,, new to ableton here! I am jst wondering, is it at all possible to automate an effect for a single pad, or specified pads within a drum rack? For example, I have a snare, kick and hat in my drum rack. I only want the filter sweep to apply to the kick and snare. Can I do this in a drum rack or do I need to make the snare and kick separate from the hat? Many thanks!!
You can get the rack here: https://www.studiobrootle.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Studio-Brootle-Operator-Sub-Bass-Rack.zip
And a some more presets here: https://www.studiobrootle.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Ableton-Operator-Presets-Sub-Basses.zip
There's a video on how to use the rack as well (you need decent headphones as it's all low end!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTzQR0g3g4o
Hope you find good use for these... Have a good one...
Hi guys,
I made a rack for DJs that you can record mixes really fast + DJM's Pioneer effects.
it has 3 main features>
You can mix everything in the Master bus ... you select where the audio from "deck A" come from, and also "deck B" .... so, you will route the audio from your regular channels ...
A unique button, that will mix perfectly the transition for both tracks.... I used a max for live plugin (free and included) that are set-up to swap the lows and volumes
I cloned the main effects from DJM's Pioneer
I hope you guys enjoy it
Hey guys, I've just finished university and for my final project I created a Virtual Instrument pack in Ableton Racks. There are 10 instruments ranging from pianos, pads and some warped acoustics.
These VI's all come with integrated macros and presets which let you completely modulate the sound.
If you think this sounds cool then check it out here:
Also, feel free to check out my website for more info.
Let me know what you think :)
Good morning. I am a musician who will be playing auxiliaries for a church. Does anybody here have some amazing soundscape pads and/or pianos?
Thank You
