Hey, I’m just getting into exploring abandoned places. Please dm me with locations or tips y’all have. Thanks so much!
Me and my friend go around visiting a lot of abandoned warehouses and factories in the Charlotte area but are trying to find some abandoned houses to explore.
Hello, I recently moved to Charlotte and I'm looking for some abandoned areas to explore in the area. I currently don't own a vehicle so I'm mainly looking for stuff that's accessible by public transit, but I would also love suggestions for things a bit further out. Hoping to find some places that I can go inside, not just piles of rubble and stuff like that, but I'm also okay with outdoor stuff like abandoned boardwalks and train tracks. Anyone know of some cool places to check out? Thanks!
Hey I’m doing an art project on abandoned spaces in which nature is starting to reclaim it. Any help would be absolutely amazing thank you!

Anyone know of any abandon places in Fort Mill SC not far south of Charlotte near carowinds just anywhere in the area. Thx
Who has been here recently?
So I’ve been recently trying to determine if I’m able to do urban exploration given my current career path. I figured what better way to do that than to ask if anyone here has had issues in the job market or their career in general due to doing UrbEx. Hopefully this will give me an idea of how I should see the risks. If you feel like you’d rather just DM me directly with your story, that’s fine with me too (Hopefully that doesn’t come off pushy or anything. Your choice as far as what you share if at all).
A lot of people say it’s not possible to go here. It is and it’s very worth it if you’re into this kind of stuff. Pm if you have questions
Appears it could be an abandoned house not sure
Hi! I’m brand new to urbex, and I’m in search of decent locations. I’m a learning photographer, and would love to see locations that haven’t been torn to ruins 😅 I’m going out tomorrow with my mom for my birthday, and would need advice on how to find locations that aren’t guarded or labeled ‘no trespassing’. If anyone has advice, I would be incredibly grateful! I have no clue how any of this works, but I (obviously) don’t expect any locations comment directly, so if there is somehow a way to dm any suggestions, advice, tips, or anything?
So I wanted to put this out there as a way for me to figure out if I want to do urbex or not. To be honest, I’ve looked through all of the other risks that are involved, and I am OK with them for the most part (pretty much all of them I can mitigate by not being stupid or just not putting myself in a stupid position). The only risks that have kept me from moving forward with doing it are the legal risks for me I’m not that worried about the money side of things as I’ve looked into the fines that are generally paid and I know that I can support myself if that comes up. My bigger worry is the permanent legal repercussions that could mess with me getting a job. As I said before, I am a college student and I’d like to make sure that my career isn’t knocked off course by getting caught and charged.
Basically, I just wanna get info from people who know or people who are in a similar situation as me, what the various legal repercussions are and what everyone’s takes are on if it’s worth it given this situation or not. Bonus points if you’re in a similar situation and you know how to do it without messing with your career.
