I’m working on getting into an AWS career. I have my CCP exam scheduled at the end of the month. Do most entry level jobs require to be in office or are some of them remote? I live in the Central Valley and there aren’t any AWS jobs here and relocation is not a possibility at this time.
Hire AWS developers and skilled remote AwS engineers in USA. Optimize your cloud infrastructure with top AWS talent for seamless operations.
Hello ,
I have a scheduled phone interview for Cloud Support Engineer-Database next monday .
This is the first interview after the assessment .
Could you give me your advise .
Thanks
Freedom of the Press Foundation (FPF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting, defending, and empowering public-interest journalism, is hiring a full-time senior IT/infrastructure engineer to help us maintain and improve our technical infrastructure.
We’re a 35-40 person organization, with about half working out of our office in New York City, and the other half working remotely. Infrastructure is a five-person team in the engineering department responsible for IT infrastructure (e.g., the office network), asset management, help desk support, on-site bare metal infrastructure, org-wide services, continuous delivery for websites (Freedom.Press, PressFreedomTracker.US), container-based CI/CD systems for engineering projects (SecureDrop, Dangerzone), intrusion monitoring and detection, incident response, and internal audits.
As a senior IT/infrastructure engineer, you will work closely with our staff, in-person and remote, to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, as well as help plan and implement infrastructure upgrades.
This is a full-time position based in our Brooklyn office (with flexibility around work-from-home days). Applicants must be based in the New York City area or willing to relocate.
Note: Because of the nature of our work, we tend to place higher emphasis on security in all these tasks than most organizations. You’ll find us using encryption, hardened kernels, enforced 2FA, and similar security measures in many parts of the infrastructure. Our team also has a culture of multidisciplinary collaboration and chipping in when needed.

Hi everyone. This job opening is at AWS. I am currently an account manager for an automated marketing company based in the US (It's like Mailchimp but serves a more specific industry).
The job has some technical aspects and is customer-facing, so I wanted to try my luck at applying for a Customer Solutions Manager opening. I am preparing for a SAA-COE3 exam and also working on an agile certification.
I have 6 years of experience working in a customer-facing role in tech although the job requirement says "5+ years of experience leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion" as basic qualification which I do not have.
I believe I am unqualified even once I acquire the certification but this job sounds like something I want to pursue. Do you have recommendations on how to get more qualified for this job? Is this position more in line with a product manager path?
Have been working as Logistics Specialist as a part of WBLP for a bit now, will be down in about 10 months, and was wondering what steps I could take to eventually transition into an IT or data center role, and what certificates would be most beneficial.

Applied for a role (non IT) at AWS last week. The portal shows 'we are not accepting...' the next day but my status still shows 'Application Submitted'. Is that a good sign? If so, what is the tentative timeline I'm looking at for a response?
I’m currently working as a DBA Associate, managing mainly RDS servers and some physical servers, including MySQL, RDS Aurora MySQL, and RDS PostgreSQL. I came from a role that is very different from my current position, so almost everything is new to me. I’m learning a lot, but I feel like this role isn’t the right fit for me. There’s a passion I’m looking for that I cannot find as a DBA.
When I started learning Linux, I always felt excited to learn new things. I enjoy fixing problems, and it feels great when I can successfully deploy something that works. Given this, I’m thinking about switching my role and applying as a Cloud Engineer. Do you think I have a chance to land at least an entry-level Cloud Engineer position?
I'm looking to break into cloud engineering, specifically within AWS, and wanted to ask the community for some guidance. What AWS certifications are currently in the highest demand for entry-level roles? Beyond certifications, what specific skills, tools, or services should I focus on to make my resume stand out to recruiters and hiring managers? Any advice on how to best prepare for interviews or success stories would also be appreciated!
Hello all,
I am a recent CS grad and looking into AWS as a SA. I have been job searching with not a lot of traction. I had a recruiter reach out to me about a SA role. I have some questions, to get too far down this path. I really want to be more on the development side or even test engineer side of things. I like to build, and those challenges associated with it. I like the building aspect and problem-solving aspect of software development. I am however open to all the possibilities and haven't nailed down where exactly I want to go with my career.
With that, do SA's have any input on the role itself (I have googled it quite a bit)?
Is it really more just working with customers and devs to meet client needs (like a lot of consulting/designing)?
What does the career outlook/growth look like? Would I be pigeonholed to big companies like AWS or Google and not have many opportunities outside of that?
My biggest question→ Is the experience as a SA applicable to devs/cloud development or even industry experience that could jumpstart my career? Can a position like this build skills and experience that would be applicable to those types of roles?
Thanks for any advice or insight!!
I completed my aws assessment last week but haven't got any reply on whether I passed or failed, how long do they usually take to send the results?
I can't find specifics online for this and I need to be able to negotiate salary. I have a strong feeling I will get an offer.
just curious about general things about working there!
I have my AWS Business analyst 1st round (60 minutes) interview in 3 days, Can anybody please share their experience or what I should expect in the interview?
I was told I was being moved forward but have not heard from my recruiter in 2 weeks, and they have not responded to outreach. I did receive a turndown email for the same title role in a different market but am still under consideration for 2 others on my jobs dashboard. I assume if there was a 180 degree turnaround after I got the phone prep email I would have received direct contact from the recruiter, but I can’t be 100% sure. Should I be concerned?
Hi All, my interview loop concluded two weeks ago tomorrow. I thought it really well and was for an AE position. During the process the recruiter said it would be a quick turn around on the decision (5 days). I checked in on the 5th business day and recruiter said due to scheduling conflicts, they were unable to meet last week to debrief but would be this week most likely and will let me know shortly after.
Couple quick questions:
Thanks for any insights or opinions.
Hi,
I've been invited to a phone screen interview for the Customer Solutions Manager role at AWS and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what kind of questions would be asked?
Given it's not a technical role will most of the questions be behavioural based on how I applied the LPs to my past experiences? Is it likely there will be technical questions on my knowledge of the AWS architecture?
Thank you.
Hola folks! I just applied to AWS Colombia for an intern position as solutions architect. Has anybody review on AWS Colombia? Pretty decent? I'm from EU
My final interview at Project Kuiper is in a few weeks! (flight controller position) There is going to be a 1-hr scripting proficiency exam and I was wondering if anyone had any tips! I know there are many study guides out there for AWS programming exams but I sense that this is going to be VERY different. For instance the recruiter and hiring manager haven't specified that I prepare for a specific programming language. Nor have they told me to study up on some of AWS's infrastructure tools.
What would be some "must study" topics for this? I have a more conventional aerospace background and have never done an interview like this before.
I've an L5 job offer in from AWS and to cut a long story short, I've been offered two options, a higher base salary, or a 15% lower base with the equivalent increase in RSUs vested over 4 years.
Thinking of opting with the higher base. Any pitfalls I should be aware of?
Hi, before I potentially go through the extensive process of applying for a job with AWS, I wanted to get a feel for the salary expectations! I am in talks about applying for an L4 Technical Program Manager but I can’t seem to get a steer on salary, can anyone give an indication? Based in Dublin so salary in €€ please, thanks in advance
I've been scouring Reddit and getting some different answers, and considering my somewhat specific circumstances, I figured I would post something to see what I should do.
I am graduating college in December, with a BA in Economics and a minor in Data Analytics. I have been getting my AWS Certifications (CCP, SAA, AI Practitioner, with SAP on the way). I just finished an internship where I was exclusively working in AWS, but the team I worked with seems to have the AWS side handled without me. I'm waiting to see if they give me a return offer, but I still obviously want to apply to other companies.
I know I am qualified, with strong programming knowledge and a resume that matches just about every need for these positions, but not having a CS degree is somewhat worrying. Is this going to be an issue? If so, how do I deal with it?
Where should I apply for entry-level AWS positions? What titles specifically match what I am looking for? Everywhere I am looking, I see a minimum requirement of 3-15 years of experience. I know Solutions Architect is not an entry-level position, but it is where I want to head, so what should I be applying for instead? Is there a specific platform that posts positions like the ones I'm looking for? Most platforms I use don't even have a distinction for AWS roles specifically.
I'd appreciate any advice from people who know more about the process than me (which is likely anyone who would respond to this). Thanks in advance

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone in London knows of any job sites or resources for junior positions in the cloud? Most of the listings I see are for mid/senior positions. I have some experience and a few AWS/Terraform certs so I'd put myself at the junior level.
