I currently have the Lyra IIs, which I adore, but I want to try something in Campfire's range that has a different sound signature; something cool to balance out the dark and warm signature of the Lyras.

I'd go for the second gen, but I hear that their sound signature seems to resemble the Lyras more than the original Polaris.

I'd love to find a Marantz 2235 or 2235b (or something similar from Marantz). Going on 20 years ago now, I went off to college and didn't want to take my hifi stuff with me and risk it being abused by new roomate/hallmates. When i came home, my mom had thrown it out. I paid $5 for it at a church basement sale, and I've never gotten over losing it. If anyone has one they just don't want I'd love to take it off your hands. I know most people sell them for hundreds today, so I am not expecting anything... just thought I'd throw it out there!
