I have a 2003 Polaris Predator 90 that I bought for $200 from my cousin after his son wrecked it down a 30-ft embankment (the kid broke his arm but is fine now). After sitting for four months in their shed and another four months in mine, I’m finally working on it. While I had it on my lift and was removing the rear wheels, I noticed that the rear hubs seem loose. I did ride it for a bit before parking it and the brakes seem weak (Could just be me as this is my first quad and I'm over the weight cap) (I also know this is a quad for a 6-10 year old, I'm 14 but am fixing this to sell.) THANKS
(VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/78jFJfhvypQ?feature=share ) sadly Youtube is dumb and its a shorts style video
Im new to atvs and wondering if i can replace the glove box with a radiator relocator
I’m thinking of picking up a 2009 Honda Recon 250 for around $1300. The quad itself looks clean and comes with a light bar along with a snorkel, but the timing chain is stretched and needs to be replaced. I have some knowledge on working on engines. Thank you
So I got a 97' Yamaha Blaster 200 today that has been sitting for a few years, the dude supposedly blew it up but the motor will seize up after a few kicks when I break it free with a wrench on the cranks, it'll kick fine about 5 times then it'll lock up, top end looks fine, don't know if it's a back bottom end or something else, it shifts fine aswell
Quick rip to close the gates tonight!
i have a 05 raptor 660 that wont run good no matter what i do, it'll start and idle forever but when i give it any throttle its starts to cut out and pop, I've rebuilt the engine checked valve clearance cleaned the carbs 4 times and I've even tried china carbs and reverse limiter is bypassed but nothing works. i had it running somewhat good but it wasn't getting full power unless it was at full throttle and then it would still pop on lower rpm i dont know what to do anymore someone please help me fix my raptor
What book should I get next, and what set of tools should I get to have since my yfz is old and needs a lot of maintenance
Hey my dvx 400 start 5 mins for the first time after the first it starts instantly and also i cant pul my chok cable not moving like it stuck or idk any advice will be appreciated
PLEASE HELP I SENT 2k on this Raptor don’t know what size jets
Bought for $500, rebuilt top end, minor electrical repairs, changed all fluids and runs like a dream
After reinstalling the 250cc engine after a top end rebuild, thr nuetral light won't come on, and the starter solenoid only clicks. Starter won't engage. All connections seem fine. I don't know what to do
Any help is much appreciated.
So I'm looking to do an xc with my raptor kinda like limitless power sports build and was wondering what size wheels and tires should I get
I have a Honda Fourtrax I took to Mexico 1 year ago that ran perfectly fine it’s a 1991 2wd Honda fourtrax 300 as i previously said it would run fine before it went to Mexico but now it runs either good or bad on some days I go to start it over and it cranks but dosent turn on and on some days it starts right on, and I took it to a mechanic and they said they replaced the “cdi box “ and it would work perfectly for a week or so and after it would only turn on sometimes I’m here to ask what do you guys think is the problem and if known what parts to take because I will be going to Mexico again in 1 months so I can buy the parts
I'm clueless about ATVs.
Situation:
What I want to do with an ATV/UTV:
The zero-turn isn't designed for pulling implements. Tractor's too heavy/cumbersome for many tasks.
As a starting point, I'm looking at used Honda FourTrax Foreman 4x4s. Honda for the reliability but I'm not attached to any brands (or configuration, fuel type, etc. for that matter). Foreman because I don't need Rubicon luxury but may have workloads beyond the Rancher and Recon. Looking to spend $5-10k some time in 2026.
Trying to find TRX fairings for sale what’s not over priced if anyone has some for sale or know anyone cheap enough pm thanks
I want to change it's oil it's a bit over do now but I need to find the filter first does anyone know where and how to find one?
So my cousin was driving myGrandma‘s quad and when we were driving. It made a weird noise and stopped moving after that I touched the throttle it. for a second and then it went a tiny bit and then it stopped really fast and it completely turned off and then It wouldn’t turn on and the brakes don’t even move when they are pressed in so I pushed it back to its area and after moving it I also tried pull starting it but it hardly budged I went back to the spot where it happened and I saw some small black pieces of stuff on the ground does anyone know what is wrong with it 😭
Changed the oil in my 2004 Suzuki Ozark yesterday.
Came out today and saw a few drips underneath...so I snugged the bolt up a bit more...and felt a slight "slip" of the bolt. This was not the socket slipping on the bolt head.
Backed the bolt out slightly and snugged it up again just to see if it was fully stripped. I didn't push it, but can tell just by the feel that if I tried to continue tightening, it would continue spinning...but not a sloppy type of spinning...a tight, but not getting any tighter kind of spinning.
Anyway, it doesn't seem to be dripping anymore oil.
Am I likely ok to use the machine, and just check the bolt by hand occasionally to make sure it's not backed out any?
One day when I was out feeding my sheep my atv randomly stopped but started again after a wile I then got a new battery and fuel injector thinking that was the problem but it still cut out while driving I then took out the spark plug which is clean and works but when it cuts out and then I take the spark plug out it doesn't spark would anyone have an idea how this could be fixed.
Hello,
So I recently bought an 1990 Yamaha moto 4 250.
Did pull start before but now feels bogged down, does turn over.
Thought I would go with the estart. Bought a new battery but got no power.
Stupid question, does it need to have the key and key cylinder/wiring for that to work? It has the hole and female connecter underneath the front plastics.
As the title says I need extra lights and got some and tried to install. But when I installed them with wires and everything it always on except when I put on high beams and then it shuts off. Something important to know is that it’s a cfmoto cforce520L 2023 and I plugged the wires in from the relay under the front plastic panel and above that is the metal rack.
PLEASE HELP!!
I drive a 2024 Subaru outback wilderness. What type of trailer is a good trailer to carry the raptor 700 on?
After keeping an eye on the used market for a long time, I finally found a barely used Sportsman X2 at a reasonable price and jumped on it. It’s a 2019 570 with 275 miles and ~85 hours. Just got done changing out all the fluids and filters, and some general maintenance checks (very glad I did!).
Of course I can’t help myself and am wondering about the tires. It’s got factory Carlisle AT489 and thinking there may be something better to suit my needs.
Primary use will be around our property, We live in a wooded, upland hills northern Midwest climate. Usually plan on winter 6 months a year and lots of snow. Our home is on 6 acres cut into a hill and I have some trails around the property. The rig will just be for miscellaneous fun and work around the property and our dirt road. Tooling around the dirt, leaf or snow covered trails (they can be steep and technical in sections), up and down the dirt road and driveway, pulling firewood from the woods and hauling wood/pellets around home, definitely using turf mode on the hilly and uneven lawn as well, hope not to shred grass too bad. I won’t be using it for plowing at all, as the compact tractor does that for me, but as good of deep and packed snow performance as possible is important to be able to enjoy it throughout winter. Eventually snow on trails will be too deep for clearance, but want great snow grip to use on our trails as late into winter as possible. Very little if any “mud” riding at all. Not many rocks so I don’t think sidewall durability is very important.
I know the description is very long and specific 😃, but really hoping to get the perfect tire for our year round and hilly use! I struggle to find reviews for this type of varied terrain.
My atv front shock is moving side-to-side from the place circled on the picture. The other one doesn't do that. Whats wrong with it? Do i need to replace it?
