any chances he's going to be playing Judith @ the Sessanta shows?
i'd assume no, but it is a popular song.
my potential ride probably doesn't want to hear it so any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
My favorite Maynard moment, insanely fucking dark and gives me chills every time. Recently got into like super into APC from listening to Tool for many years and man he just doesn’t miss.
Just thought I'd share this poster I made here, I'm a big fan of this band and I want to try make more things like this. If anyone has other covers I could try please suggest it! Thanks (Not selling anything)
Happy Thanksgiving!
Hey, has anyone noticed that there is a lower and upper case of this symbol font. In mer de noms the track partial lyrics are displayed that appear slightly disfigured of the text that was fully decoded. You can the display of upper vs lower case. Has anyone found the lower case for Q? Desperately looking for the answer, I do not want to die not knowing the lower case "q"
Adding this one to the collection today!
When I was young and grew up in Burbank, and Hollywood, I was a frequent guest at a lot of shows in the 90’s and a girlfriend of mine told me that she was in the backrooms and hanging when Maynard came in pre show and was working on a song… She told me he looked sad… and she opened up to him and him to her and then she said “it’s not like you killed someone” and then… a bit after Judith came out. Her name I think was Ani. But anyway I was just wondering if Maynard ever told anyone or if anyone else ever heard this? It’s not like she cared if she got any credit. Back then we just cared about artists and music and were all aspiring lyricists so… thoughts?
Thanks for checking out my cover of 3 Libras! If you are interested in hearing more from me, there is a link to my youtube channel in my bio. I cover many APC and Tool songs, as well as tons of grunge music. Thanks!
correction is the album its from a remix album* oh and is that track also have trent reznor on it? that sounds like him yelling in it
For me, certain songs by Seether (Shaun Morgan and Corey Lowery's guitar playing is reminiscent of Howerdel and Iha's at times) and 10 Years hit the same mark as many APC songs do. Also a shoutout to Chevelle.
Thanks for checking out my cover of Talk-Talk. Feel free to check out my channel for more APC covers and more!
Any recommendations
I quit smoking early this year and have noticed my vocals have bounced back, alongside my range. Not saying I'm comfortable up there as a baritone, but pretty blimmin stoked to get through the whole of my most favourite song of all time without either passing out or cracking too badly.
Doomed are the poor Doomed are the peaceful Doomed are the meek Doomed are the merciful
The outsider vocal training
I have listened to hours of Maynard. That is putting it lightly. I appreciate what he has done with Tool, and all that creation. With APC I have to genuinely say he is being himself and singing. I have seen him perform in all his bands I know of, Tool, APC, Puscifer. I think his voice, and message with APC is true and what he has been wanting to say. Just my opinion, and whiskey has helped. Tune in, into each other. Lift all higher.
