This community is for all of those within, or interested in, the UK's emergency services. From Paramedics and Police Officers to Coast Guards and Firefighters, all are welcome!
We also have many people who are not directly linked to the services but may have questions or like to follow the community.
This subreddit is now dedicated to the UK's emergency services! Fire, police, ambulance as well as others such as the coast guard.
If you want to post your experience with the emergency services that you believe was a happy one, please include the phrase '#bluelighthappy' within the title.

This subreddit has a variety of flairs that can be assigned to relevant users. For example, if you are a paramedic, message the mods with proof and we will assign the ambulance service flair to your user. This is so that users have greater confidence with the information from these users.
Although the members of this community consists widely of users who are in the emergency services, please do not request help here. If you have an emergency, stop using reddit and dial 999 immediately. If you have a medical problem that you don't think constitutes an emergency please dial 111 or arrange an appointment with your GP.
