I've googled everything, and I can't find this game

I remember being about 6 years old and had just moved to Sweden from Norway in 2003/2004. And since I was a kid in a new country without any friends my mom bought me this PC game that I absolutely loved. But I've been pulling my hair out trying to find this game, and I feel like I've given up after looking up everything I can remember on google with no results. So maybe someone here knows where I can find it?

So this is what I remember:

It takes place in space on a space shuttle. You have a crew with about 3-5 people who lands on different planets to find materials and crystals/stones/gems. When you land on the planets you have to beam yourself in and out of the spaceship. This is all in 2D, but if you're on the space shuttle it's in 3D. Also when you are traveling to a galaxy or planet you sometimes have to avoid meteors and such.

It's been a couple of years, so I don't remember much more than this. But I remember loving it, and especially now during the pandemic I would love to have something fun to play while being inside.

In advance, thank you so much for your help!

What 90s PC game is this? Likely for 4-6 year olds. Image is dated as December 1993. Mouse in a bed with "MATCHES" on the bedspread. Does not appear to be Maisy Mouse?

Ghidra used for modding ROMs

I saw a video where some one loaded an emulator into Ghidra (https://www.nsa.gov/resources/everyone/ghidra/) as a module, and then loaded a ROM into that, and was able to reverse the ROM, which would make modding old 90's games much easier, as well as serve as jumping off point for making similar games, or even unofficial sequels (Jackal Part 2 would be cool).

Anyways, I still haven't had any luck with correcting the technical inaccuracies in Novalogic's F-22 Lightning 3 (https://www.reddit.com/r/90sgames/comments/ebzbc2/novalogic_pc_games_combat_flight_sims_military/) game from 1999 - I wonder if Ghidra could be used? Sadly, I have zero experience with Ghidra, so this is gonna take me a hot minute to figure out.

How can you play old games on a new PC?

Hi guys! I remembered an awesome game from my childhood called Gahan Wilson's Ultimate Haunted House a while ago. While I found a download for it at some point, I couldn't get it to play as it was one of those games you used to have to adjust your color settings for. Does anyone have any ideas about how to play these kinds of games? Is there a specific emulator I'd need?

Does anyone know this kids game from the 90s? The main character had to collect items and had to go through a spooky garage. In the garage, the main character had to shoot ghosts/goblins that hid behind trash cans and then they eventually had to give him whatever item he was looking for.

Magic Theater 1995

I have been craving some classic gaming. My 9 year old was playing around on this art program and I was reminded of Magic Theatre. Great game! So I thought I'd educate the uncultured swine with something classic. Unfortunately, after I paid for and downloaded the game from online, I found out that it's glitching. Everything runs well, except for everything you go to add to the scenery has big white blocks in the background, covering everything in the background. Really ruins it, and the fun. Been fiddling with the settings (it was too big for the screen too, fixed that,) but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get rid of the white blocks!

I'm making an open world game from 90s shooter Tyrian's graphics

Hello, 90s lovers, some of you may remember the shooter game Tyrian. It was the only shooter I ever loved. Well, the graphics have been made available by Daniel Cook so that indie game developers can make a game out of them, and that's what I'm doing! I'm developing Super Space Galaxy, an open-world game that's going to be very different from Tyrian. I'm making it up as I go along so any suggestions welcome.

90s X-Men PC Encyclopedia Game?

I’ve searched the internet and asked my mom and struck out on both. I vividly remember playing an encyclopedia-style X-Men computer game in the mid 90s. It looked almost identical to the credits that play in the X-Men: The Animated Series, with character icons and rotating moc ups of the characters. If you clicked on them, it would open up a whole article about their powers, origin, history, etc. Does anyone know what this was called? Or if it even existed?

Anybody remember Venture?

I remember playing this as a kid and getting really freaked out from it. From what recall you had to climb thru a dungeon (i was really young when I played this so sorry for the vagueness) I did a quick google search and I got a page from 2013 with links to play online, but those links are now dead? Anybody know where I can find it?

Help needed to identify a 90s game that I can't remember the name of

There was a PC game from my childhood I just remembered but can't seem to find any record of it and I feel like it might be because I'm not remembering it correctly. I think it was called "Pickles" but I'm not altogether sure. It was this surreal cartoon, point-and-click exploration game. You could hold the main character with your mouse and put him into different elements in the level to see how he interacts with it. Sometimes he would get eaten or he would interact with a character. I remember he had like a purple shirt, a yellow hat with two nubs on the top and a red cape (I think?) I think he got naked at some point. I played this as a child in the 90s and it was only ever on my parents' PC. Any help identifying will be greatly appreciated. Perhaps like a PC game database or something.

Help me find a game!

I’ve been looking for it for a while and cant find it. Someone actually described it well which is a little red riding hood 2D adventure game where you had to avoid the wolf. It’s weird that I actually remembered it when I heard a bird that sounded exactly like the one in the game lol It’s very old and i think it was on a cd but i cant remember. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Help finding a game

I’m not sure if this was the same game entirely. But I remember a games around the late 90s on Pc that involved penguins and Santa, and some sort of anti-Santa. You would almost play a bowling match against Santa’s using penguins from my memory.

My brothers were telling me that this game had an additional mode where you’d drop eggs off a roof onto passing pedestrians, and when a cop was hit with an egg you would be arrested and the game was over.

Novalogic PC games - combat flight sims, military FPS, etc.

In 1999, Novalogic released F-22 Lightning 3. I spent many hours playing their combat flight sims.

20 years later, at 35 years old, I found myself creating a Windows 95 virtual machine so that I could fire up this old sim again. Nostalgia is an under statement!

I'm hoping some one can help me in modding the game. The game has the absolute top flyable speed (in Mach) as 1.8 Mach. At that point the aircraft becomes damaged and uncontrollable. The problem is, that, in 2019, it's pretty well known that the number 1.8 Mach represents the maximum super-cruise speed the Raptor is capable of. The top speed is classified (speculation on the military fan-boy sites say it can approach Mach 3)

I want to change the game so that the speed is more realistic, and I might want to increase the AIM-120C range and decrease the Raptor's RCS to more realistic settings. Of course, it would also be fun to increase the RCS too in order to have more fun dog fighting. ;-)

I'm not sure where to start. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

Trying to remember the name of this old game

It was from the 90s where you played as a rat who I think had to come up with money or something for his drug dealer (?). It had an (obviously) darker edge to it. I know my details aren’t the best but here’s what I remember; having to search for stuff like a beer can in an alley and a syringe. The song that played was Low Rider by War. There was a nightclub with a disco ball.

I can’t be the only person who remembers this!
