Welcome to 90's Wrestling! A place to talk about wrestling spanning from 1990 - 1999. That's a whole lot of wrestling. Expect to see some links from YouTube, NJPW World, WWE Network, and any other streaming service. This page is intended to archive wrestling from one decade in one place.

I've always been a big fan of Harlem Heat, and I enjoy checking out their older stuff from WCW Saturday Night on the Network. I've also heard the backstory of how they originally debuted with Col. Parker in shackles and chains, before better taste prevailed and that aspect of the gimmick was dropped. My question is about their original names, "Kole" and "Kane". Is that somehow derived from "Cocaine"? I know their subsequent names- "Booker T" and "Stevie Ray"- had more prestigious connotations to their origin, so I always thought the change was made to get away from something negative. I've looked around online and never seem to find anything even addressing the name change. Anyone?
Does anyone know where I could stream these as they were at the time. I know you can get them on the Network but I feel like they might be censored.
thanks
