May 17th at The Black Cat! Punk / Reggae / Hardcore in the Nation's Capitol! Benefit for HR of Bad Brains and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention!
I'm making a picture documentary of punk culture and I was wondering what else I could do for some compositions?
I already have some band posters, some protest signs, some graffiti about activism, and patched clothes set up
I'm also wondering what being punk means to you, how it's incorporated into your everyday life, things like that
Anything helps!
We sold out last year so get your tix in advance! https://www.etix.com/ticket/p/62638315/the-goons--hr-band--supreme-commander-at-black-cat

Hi, thought this might be of interest- DB shared this with me and I am sharing with you!
"Before becoming DJ DB, I was a 16 year-old school drop-out in London. I was struggling to be a photographer, while also struggling with drugs. I'd spend any money on self-medicating rather than developing the film I'd shot. When my mother died, I went back to London to clear out my old bedroom & found a bag of 35mm rolls of film, capturing the punk & new wave scenes in London, NY & LA between 1976-1982."
“CRASH BANG: Pictures from a Punk” is a large format photo book. Kickstarter launched to cover costs of production (now fully funded) but you can still get it cheaper & ahead of general release.

Back in the 80’s there was a shop in Toronto called the Record Peddler. My cousin went in and they had this track playing that just incessantly said “I want my money back. I want my money back”. The only other lyric he remembers is something like “but I only have 50¢”
We’ve been looking for years.
Help!
Could someone help me find out the name of that first band in the video? I've been looking for it for 12 years and counting on your help, please.
