Scandinavian Gems

Anyone familiar with Svart Framtid? They're my fave. The one demo 1984 they put out imo is perfect thru n thru. All songs bangers. Recommendations or thoughts?

Band Name?

Hardcore band using sound bites on their record from the movies Full Metal Jacket and Cool Hand Luke. Songs about MailBox Baseball, 3.2 Beer, Fake People, Wreckless Driving and a warning of “Don’t Take The Wrong Approach or I’ll Stomp Your Head Like A Fucking Roach!”

Active Ingredients - Bringing Down The Big Boys 7" (Fat-Man Records 1985)

How were producers in the 80s making records sound like this?? Stuff like this, G.I.S.M ,Mallekka, first adolescence, and a lot more, all have this amazing exciting sound. Foley, reverb, modulation, all help make the tracks jump and attack your ears. No one really gets this type of sound truly proper in the current day. Who are some of the best engineers from this time/genre? And how do we achieve this kind of production today?
