I’ve heard everything from The Clash, both the Sex Pistols albums, the first four Ramones, all the stuff from The Police, the Damned’s debut and “Machine Gun Etiquette”, all three Stooges albums, the first three from Elvis Costello, the Dictators debut, Wire’s “Pink Flag”, Patti Smith’s “Horses”, Richard Hell’s “Blank Generation”, X-Ray Spex “Live at the Roxy Club”, the Buzzcock’s “Singles Going Steady”, Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers’ album, the New York Dolls debut, the Talking Heads debut the first two Undertones albums, the first four B-52s albums, and Television’s “Marquee Moon”.
I plan to listen to DEVO’s debut, Gang Of Four “Entertainment!”, 999’s first few, X-Ray Spex’s album, the UK Subs “Another Kind Of Blues”, some more stuff from The Damned, “Young, Loud, and Snotty” from the Dead Boys, “GI” from The Germs, The Dictator’s other two albums, more from the Talking Heads, and The Jam. What else is there to hear?
