Fleetwood Mac had some great albums prior to the addition of Buckingham/Nicks in 1975. Bare Trees, released in March 1972, was the last album to feature Danny Kirwan. “Sentimental Lady” would be re-recorded by Bob Welch in 1977 on his solo album, French Kiss. In my opinion this album is where Christine McVie began to write songs that would become her signature style. “Spare Me A Little” remained a staple in their set list even during the first tour with Buckingham and Nicks onboard. Definitely worth checking out if you haven’t already.

I remember the commercials, but I never knew any friends that owned one. They were only around for a couple of years in the 70’s. My parents told me that I couldn’t have one because you could put an eye out with that thing.
Goodbyes And Butterflies - Five Man Electrical Band
Released in 1970 and rereleased in 1971 which spawned the song “Signs” which is just simply a classic and has been redone by other bands in later years but I love and stick with the original.
Still on my playlist today, this whole album just sounds like the early 1970s
Gather Me by Melanie. Released in 1971 and is probably one, if not the first serious rock albums my parents bought for me.
Later in life, after a decade of addiction, one song from this album titled “Little Bit Of Me” provided some inspiration through the suffering
🎶 Won't you hold my hand now
Hold my hand tight
Hold lightly in the day and Hold harder at night
Well, I don't mind the coming down It's the way it's gotta be
What I hope I got left inside Is a little bit of me🎶
