Ok guys hear me out ok. You need to be geographically in Europe to be able to join the eu. I think we should give Canada 1m^2 of Greenland and then let them join. Is working as a translator still a viable career in Europe?
Time to get out your crystal ball and help me with a prediction.
I speak a bunch of different European languages, but I don't use this skill much in my job. I am considering to get certified and look for a job as a translator/interpreter, but then I wonder, are there enough job opportunities in this field? It seems to me most people use Google Translate/ChatGPT for their everyday job where an approximate translation is good enough. I guess it will end up being a niche occupation only for very high stakes translations like in foreign policy/intelligence/trials etc?
