GOGI [BIKI KUKO KIKU] !

Is there anyone else who can use ZESE? I would not want this beautiful language to die out. Let's do something for ZESE to survive. I do not know, for example: write a book or something. We do so little for ZESE ... )-:

3RD PERSON PRONOUNS

So I just joined. Saw the CC episode and thought I would investigate. Zese is a pretty cool language but do we have 3rd person pronouns yet? If not would anyone be willing to create them with me?

Is Zese dead?

Cause I feel like it's dead, and the creator has forgotten about it. If that is true, then that sucks. I discovered it several months ago, and I'm still very interested in it. Too bad the community seems to be dead and I'm basically the only person who's interested in this language anymore.

Proper Nouns

How does one refer to something that has a proper noun? CVCV does not really work for this, am confused.

I can't seem to find the words for days of the week either. How does one refer to time operations also? Such as shifts on certain days and so forth. Trying to write a roster in zese just to be incredibly annoying.

Extreme ZESE attempt

I maybe butchered the grammar. Please be harsh!

"Determination of shape anisotropy in embedded low contrast submonolayer quantum dot structures"

"[POKA POPI] GAGA [DODO DIDI] POPI [POKO POZO] [DETU DEZU] [BIKI BIZU] [DETU POBI ZOTO POZO] [KUKU SUDI GAGI] [GASO SUSU] [GAGA PUPU] "

[KIKE KUKO] KASA [ZEKA ZESE] TEKO GAGA TOZU [DETU TETA BIKA KABI] KUKO [DETU DEZU ZOTO POKO SUDI POBI] SUSU GAGA. [ZEKA ZESE] GOTO GOGU [BIZU BIKI BIKA GAKO] GAGI x-ray [ZOTA DETU-KUDE] GOTO [DIDI GIGE] [POTE BIKA KABI], GODI GOGU [ZOTA DETU-KUDE] [ZEKA ZESE KABI] GOTU GOKE KAKA [DETU DEZU ZOTO POKO SUDI POBI] SUSU GAGA. KIKE KUKO DIPA [BIZU BIKI BIKA GAKO] BIKI KAPA KAGI [SUDI SUSU] [KUKU DODO TEPO DIDI] [GEDI GEGU] [110] DODO. DOPI [ZOTA ZEGU] [ZOTA GEDI] DIDI [BIBI BIZU] [KUDE KUKA KUKO], POKA POKI [KABI TASU] [DIDI PUTA]-[BIBI BIZU] [KABI TASU], KASA GOGU TUTO. "We describe a procedure for the morphological characterization of hard-to-image submonolayerquantum dot structures. This procedure employs high resolution x-ray diffraction based reciprocal space mapping, accompanied by rigorous diffraction modeling for precise determination of the morphology of submonolayerquantum dots. Our modelling results and experimental data clearly show that the investigated quantum dots are anisotropically elongated along the [110] orientation. Complementary polarization dependent photoluminescence measurements, combined with our previously reported magneto-photoluminescence data, confirm this conclusion. Our formalism enables direct extraction of structural information of complex embedded three-dimensional structures, which, due to their low electron density contrast with respect to the surrounding host matrix, cannot be readily investigated by traditional electron diffraction techniques."

Requirement for functional languages

  • Chemistry: It allows translation from IUPAC's colored book collection
  • Biology: it has to have words for all human anatomy and most animal species.
  • Technology: It requires lexicon form programming languages like C/C++, C#, Java, Ruby, Python, Perl, HTML5+CSS3+JS5 and Objective-C.

I added some CSS to the Zese subreddit.

My goal was to make the subreddit theme match that of the Zese home page. Please let me know if you have recommendations.

ZEKU's explanation

ZEKU represents an ordinal number (position in a sequence). Ordinal numbers begin at one.
ZEKU DIDE PAZU DIZA ZOTO.
Ordinal of tree be 1
The ordinal number of the tree is one. (The tree is the first tree.)

Can't you refer to this tree as "PAZU ZEKU ZOTO", like "KIKE BIKI PAZU ZEKU ZOTO" (I see the first tree.)

Explanation of a few words

Hello, I'm back with yet another Question about the vocabulary; could you clarify what the following words mean, and how they can be used?

KITA (D): Subject of a situation noun.
KITO (D): Object of a situation noun.
KISO (D): A not previously mentioned one; may be preceded by an identifying number.
KISI (D): The previously mentioned one; may be preceded by an identifying number.

I am now keeping a list of proficient Zese speakers on the home page.

I am the only person on the list right now. B-)

Here is a link to the page:

http://www.ostracodfiles.com/zese/main.html

I encourage you all to learn some Zese if you have time. Then you can be added to the list!

The Zese lessons should help you get started:

Enjoy!

I'm going to start making lessons in layman terms.

This idea is from a document written by /u/tigfa. Hopefully I can attract speakers more easily with a thorough lesson plan.

What aspects of Zese have you found difficult to understand? I will try to put more emphasis on these concepts in the guide.

I'm running out of ideas for furthering Zese. :(

Maybe I should translate something? Maybe I should make propaganda? Maybe something else?

What do you think?
