Kimihiro Watanuki can see spirits and other assorted supernatural creatures, which is quite a bothersome ability he strongly dislikes. On the way home one day, while plagued by some spirits, he is inexplicably compelled to enter a strange house. There, he encounters Yuuko, a mysterious woman who claims to be able to rid him of the ability to see and attract the troublesome creatures—for a price.

×××Holic (Japanese: ×××ホリック Hepburn: Horikku), pronounced as "holic," is a seinen manga written and illustrated by the group of manga artists known as Clamp. The series, which crosses over with another Clamp work, Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, revolves around Kimihiro Watanuki, a high-school student disturbed by his ability to see the supernatural, and Yūko Ichihara, a witch who owns a wish-granting shop. When Watanuki asks Yūko to remove his ability to see spirits, she grants it on the condition that he pay for his wish by working for her. Clamp created xxxHolic because they wanted a series that would link to their other works. They are currently working on a spin-off series xxxHolic: Rei.

What chapters does xxxHolic volume 8 cover?
In English. I've been reading it from my local library, and they have all the volumes but 8, so I figured I'd read that one online; but the chapters aren't clearly labelled within the volumes, so I don't know where to start or end.

I've been trying to collect the single volume editions, and I keeps seeing things like "silver edition" and "gold edition" with different spines and colors as well. Does anyone know what that means and if it makes any difference in the content inside of the manga?

XxxHolic Volume 16
Can anyone tell me if the first edition of volume 16 of xxxholic has a colored first page like the rest of the series? My girlfriend is the collector so I don’t have familiarity in the series. I have been reaching out to sellers claiming they are selling 1st addition volume 16 but when I ask if the first page is colored they say no. I am just wondering if any one has any info on this particular volume or any tips on how to locate a colored 1st page 1st edition copy of this volume. This is the only volume missing from her collection because neither her or I have been able to locate it. Thank you!!!

Why didn't Ichihara Yūko create a beautiful female human who looks physically in her twenties and mentally in her twenties and who is kind and sweet for Watanuki Kimihiro to take care of Watanuki Kimihiro just in case if something bad happened to Ichihara Yūko and also so that Watanuki Kimihiro could have a girlfriend to take care of him including having sex with him to relieve his sexual impulses as I don't think that Watanuki Kimihiro is into having sex with Marudashi and Morodashi as they look physically and mentally like children ?
It's not the same to have a girlfriend who looks physically in their twenties and is mentally in their twenties than having 2 children like Marudashi and Morodashi. You don't share the same thoughts with somebody who is mentally like a kid than somebody who is mentally like an adult.
