Our roommate didn't like the rabbit...

Many years ago I was living in an apartment with 3 roommates, so - including me - 4 people in the apartment. 3 of us got along really well and spent most of our time hanging out together.

The 4th roommate, let's call him Sirio, was a stickler though. He would complain about everything. We really tried to accommodate him, because we didn't want any drama, but there was just no pleasing him.

This all came to a head, when one of the other two roommates got a dwarf rabbit. We really loved the little guy and took care of him all three of us together. The contract clearly allowed pets in the apartment so there was no recourse for Sirio, but to incessantly complain to us about it.

The rabbit somehow understood that we didn't like Sirio much and would sometimes poop in the corridor in front of Sirio's door, when we let him out to explore the apartment.

We obviously cleaned it up as soon as we would see it, but Sirio was furious. Which is very understandable to be honest.

Anyways, we were immature and petty, so we came up with a prank. We bought breakfast cereals. The small chocolate balls for children. They look very much like rabbit poop if you don't give them a close inspection.

So one night we poured them out in front of Sirio's door and went to bed. Cue next morning! As expected we were awoken by Sirio screaming that we had to clean this up right now or else!

The three of us slowly walked out of our rooms, down the hallway to his door, got on our knees and started eating the chocolate balls, without uttering a single word.

I will never forget his face. Confusion mixed with disgust, surprise and a little bit of horror.

We never told him that it was a prank, he never complained about the rabbit again and to this day I nearly piss myself laughing, when I think about it.

So that's that. Have a great weekend!

Help wanted: What website makes sound when opened?

So, someone at work stole my mouse and the little device that connects it to the computer. The thing is that they didn't take the keyboard that connects too. This leaves me with the ability to control their computer using only the keyboard. I'm preparing for all level of chaos, with the intent to find the thief and get my stuff back. Generally speaking, lots of closing tabs and writing cryptic messages. If I am lucky, this person won't lock their screen at lunch and I can make my main attack. What I really need is a website that plays music or sound once you open the link. Preferably with a short url since I have to type it out. Does anyone have any suggestions? A lot of the ones I found require you to click your mouse in order to actually play sound, but I need something I can trigger with only a keyboard. Thanks for any suggestions!

Chicken bullion cubes in shower head

This is one my dad did to his friend a long time ago. Broke up a couple of cubes into small bits, unscrewed friend's shower head when he visited, put bullion in and replaced shower head. He never got to hear of the results as friend never mentioned anything about the next time he took a shower. I like to think the friend was turned into Chicken Soup for the Soul for a day.

Going to prank my sister with Smurf figures and I'm really excited about it...

A few years ago I found an old Smurf figure posed taking a bath and brought it to my friend's who collects toys and nick-knacks. I put it in his bathroom and within a few hours, he asked 'who put the smurf in my bathroom?' Now, any time I visit, I see the smurf taking a bath in a candle he has in there and it makes me smile.

So, I'm visiting my sister for her birthday in a few weeks and thought it would be funny to do something like that at her house. I started by just trying to get the same bath smurf but quickly learned that ordering just 1 of them from ebay costs like $10. I also saw that there are hundreds of smurf figures doing all sorts of silly things from bathing to cooking to partying or playing sports.

What I decided to do was buy them in lots of like 5 to 10 so I got them at closer to $3 a smurf and now I have like 30 smurfs.

My sister is turning 50 and the best figure I found is Smurfette on a birthday cake with a "50" on it. It was too expensive for me to get myself, but I told our other sister about it and she sprung for it.

My plan is to place them throughout the week. It's gonna be so silly because I'll have to keep a stash of smurfs in my pocket all week. Hide the doctor smurf in the medicine cabinet. Hide the ice cream smurf in the freezer. Hide the animal tamer smurf with the dog treats (this one cracks me up as it's wearing leopard print underwear and brandishing a whip).

It might be kinda insane for her to keep all of them around her house indefinitely so I'm thinking I'll suggest they take some of them and hide them at other friends' houses when they visit. It'll be the prank that keeps on smurfing!

I know this isn't a video and hasn't even happened yet, but I hope people enjoy the idea. I'm not a good pranker and imo it's hard to "prank" without it being too mean or typical.

My colleagues once taught me a lesson about security, and not leaving my laptop open and unattended

I used to work in the security group in the computer lab at a university.

My colleagues at the time once taught me a lesson about leaving my computer open and unattended by taking a screenshot of my desktop, making the screenshot my background, minimising everything that was open, and then hiding the shelf at the bottom of my mac so that my mouse was moving, but nothing I clicked on the screen worked.

I turned around to one of my colleagues that I shared an office with (let’s call him colleague number 1) and said my computer was being weird. He immediately said that colleague number 2 had done this to my computer. Then colleague number 3 comes in and I exclaim the equivalent of: "Hey! Colleague number 1 let colleague number 2 do this thing to my computer!" hoping for some sympathy, and he said:

“Yeh, I know. We took a vote on it. We included you in the vote too and assumed you'd be against it, but it was still 3 to 1".
