I’m so tired it’s my first time working in my car so I was really nervous, but it turned out so good. Rock auto saved my day
Hi there, I would like to buy a SN95, but as I have kids (9 and 3 years), I wonder how comfortable it will be? It will be my second car for short and medium distances. For long distances I will use my Cherokee XJ. Btw. I'm 5'7" (170cm) short, my wife 5'3" (160) and by now we never had really space issues with cars. Would love to read some experiences, especially from other compact parents :)
I’m going to be picking up a 1995 3.8l manual with 167k mi for $1,200 and was wondering about anything I should know about or look for; so far so good, car runs (little rough, has about 1/2 1yr old gas but I’ll cycle it out), and nearly no rust. Has a Hertz shifter (not sure what it is tbh), and some awful tint that I’m gonna get replaced. Car ran immaculately, no knocks or ticks. Sounds better than my 06 Grand Marquis. Gas tank straps and bolts are good too so I think that means it’s pretty good rust wise. No holes around fenders neither. Interior is amazing, driver seat has no tears. Paintwork is a little eh, clear coat is coming off on the rear quarter panels on top. Rear wheel bearings were replaced allegedly, and the rear end was drained and refilled with oil or whatever it is that’s in there. I’ve never owned a v6, but I have the 4.6l in my current car. Are they similar? I mean I’m aware they’re different motors but ykwim. Also has a kill switch installed which I’m planning on removing otherwise. Also thinking of putting a GT trunk on for the spoiler in the same matching color. Also front bumper on the edges closes to the wheels is slightly poking out, does this happen normally? If assume not but I’ve never disassembled the front end obviously so I don’t know the connections for bolts. Has all four original wheels and caps. Says k&n on the factory intake box, is that original? That’s all for my rambling for now. And I know it’s not a “real” mustang but it was affordable and seemed like a good deal compared to a similar priced beated on v8, which I already have a v8 car so I don’t mind the lack of power.
Hello All,
My mustang has recently started blowing cold air every once in a while, when the heat is on max. Its almost like AC air for a few minutes then the heat turns back on. Living in winter areas that makes it cold AF.
Im wondering if this is a heater core issue, as my temp gauge goes up and down a decent bit while driving. Once its up to temp, the gauge drops down for a bit, then comes back up past the middle. Then it goes back to the 12:00 position. It dosent seem to align with the cold air coming from my vents, but i assume the temp sensor is in a different spot.
Any help troubleshooting is greatly appreciated
I have a 1994 Mustang GT, its only modifications are a cold air intake, catless x pipe, and a catback. The car at idle sounds lopey and choppy as if it was cammed but I don't believe it is. I smoke tested it through the hose that connects to the PVC valve and nothing. I smoke tested the exhaust and it only escaped from behind the muffler. Drove the car today after it sat for a few months while I worked on it and it idled less aggressively and the engine feels very hot making the hood hot. Any ideas what could be causing this? (tried uploading post with video of idle but wouldn't submit)
I have a 98 cobra and recently when I’m driving and I’m slowing down at a light the idle will go up to like 1.5 then go back down then some times it’ll just stick at 1.5 I’m thinking either throttle body getting stuck or my iac valve
Does anyone know a piece of media, whether movie or tv show, that portrays a character driving or owning an sn95 or new edge mustang? The only example I know is Finn from the sopranos, he wasn’t a major character but there is one scene where he is shows up to his work at a construction site in a green sn95 convertible
I have a 94 gt convertible and every now and again i will feel a huge difference in power, feels like it has alot of power but most of the time it feels sluggish. For example in like 2nd gear when you mash it, it goes absolutely nowhere but other times it slams me in my seat. I have already replaced the following
*Plugs and wires *Cleaned throttle body and iac *Fuel filter
Ive had a few people tell me they have the same issues, was wondering if there was anything else I could do to maybe get some of my power back, anything helps.
The guy I got the car from removed everything past the CATs and I don't like the way it feels and runs. I enjoy loudish deep exaust notes and preferably no heavy droning. Above all else PREFORMANCE IS KING.
I’m looking at buying a 1999 mustang gt, how hard would it be to swap a gen1 coyote and is it worth it?
The car is $6000usd/$8500cad with 112,00mi/180,000km
Anybody recognize this noise? Thinking it may be the throw out bearing but trying to get some opinions. Thanks
Sorry to be back here again with questions but I was looking around Kijiji and saw a 78mm BBK throttle body for sale, and it made me wonder about how easy it is to swap out for the stock? Would I have to buy any separate parts to make it run more optimally/to adapt proper? Or could I just simply swap it with the stock one and be done?
My mechanical car knowledge is still pretty basic so I don’t know much about this sort of stuff. Thank you in advance for any advice/help!
Finally cool enough to have the top down.

The coil packs make me feel like it's still the stock 1997 engine
My vacuum hoses dried out and I’d like to replace them on my 1997 cobra. The green line I know where it goes, the red I don’t know where on the intake manifold it goes. If someone can help me I’d appreciate it
Just got a 97 cobra this Sunday and drove it fine for the first 3 days, I was driving to the store and noticed my rpm gauge was at zero but car was still running. The windows would roll down real slow and the lights got dim then she died. I replaced both alternator and battery and thought I’d be good to go but she did it again and I’m at a loss any help would be amazing. Thank you
For those of you that have wrapped your mustangs, how much vinyl did it take you. Is 5x60 feet enough?
Does anyone have leather seats for sale? Only really need the drivers side. The seats in my car definitely aren’t mustang seats and are the least comfy car seat I’ve ever been in. The driving position is horrible with them

Hi there, i have a 98 manual GT with the T45 and my mounts are due for a change. Problem is I can't seem to find replacements for the trans mount since it's different front the regular T5 mount. Is there somewhere I can get the offset T45 mount online? Local Ford dealer wants like $500 USD for a new one.
I have a 1998 v6 mustang , the wipers stay on no matter what speed you set it at whether it is high, low, off, intermittent ,and the washer pump runs constantly. The multifunction switch was replaced with one from another car and the wiper motor was replaced with a new one. Thanks in advanced.
96 mustang GT - Replaced the front tie rod ends and now the driver side is heavily squeaking. Any insight?
Passenger side is not making any noise. Getting an alignment tomorrow maybe that will help.
