ive been using the program for a few years and never even thought that it could have a subreddit
I saved a photo in paint.net, but when I open the photo I just want the photo.. I want to be able to move it around on my desktop and just look like a photo. I don't want to see the header and borders of paint.net around it! How can I do this? - Open a photo and just have it be the photo only pop up in a window on my screen
I can't save anything. Anytime I try to save a project, the program crashes. I have to end the program by using control, alt, delete and end it in the processes.
The same thing is happening when I open up the regular MS paint program too. Both programs cannot save. What gives? I don't want to lose my work.
Boy do you know what this plugin is? I remember I used paint.net pluging that split the images in difrend squars and allow me to manipulte the form of the image. Anyone do know the name of this paint.net plugin?
Is there a plugin where i can install it and it snaps on, like a grid.
I want to know if there’s any PDN plugins that are like the Quick Selection tool? Magic Wand is great for getting my subject, but then I’ll have to get the rest of the green screen off my subject! It seems I’m quite spoiled by this software.
Thanks!!
I was hoping it was possible to convert a mdp file for medibang paint to a pdn file for paint(dot)net. I have very many plugins on the latter. And, while I'm considering using medibang primarily (better stabilizer imo), I would like to use both in conjunction.
Would it be possible to make a copy of the mdp file and convert it to pdn?
I was updating paintdotnet and then my pc crashed mid update and now everytime i try to open paintdot net it does nothing and when i try to uninstall it says this:
does anyone have any ideas on how i could fix it?
It started with the last update of paintdotnet, the editing area of the program is just shifting colors and displays blocky trails when moving the mouse over it. The gui is fine. This only happens on my RTX4080-rig, I have five other PC:s with the same latest version of windows 11, same drivers but RTX30** or RTX20** instead and they are all working fine.
I have had to switch to using Gimp on my RTX4080-rig which is not optimal since it's more clunky to use, everything else works as normal, anyone got any idea what the problem is?
just do it im tired of telling people who want to make maps to not go on the site paint.net but to go to https://www.getpaint.net/ so please buy the url im begging
Greetings,
Because the Windows Store app is a paid app, I'm assuming if the regular app is already installed, you can't upgrade/update from the store (through winget for example), is that correct?
Midora's one (the same person who did the apng and agif plugins) keeps giving me "files doesn't contain any frames" or "failed to load frame 1" errors, is there any other similar plugins for webp or a way to fix those errors ?
Hello I am trying to modify a map but I am having issues with the outlines. I am trying to transform this map (https://imgur.com/btpCEtc) into a map that looks like this (https://preview.redd.it/7afgmb33dau51.png?width=5632&format=png&auto=webp&s=55c6e59ec045bffceca7a82fbd296b806aa396c6). But the issue is that the outline tool makes the individual tiles appear like this (https://imgur.com/RRjpNjI) and also doubles the outlines when I want it to look like the zoomed in tiles in the previous link. How can I go about fixing this without pretty much doing this entirely by hand? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
The "add noise" option only adds noise to the original image, but it doesn't create random RGB 0-255 noise.
Been looking all over for a plugin that would let me bend selected pixels in paint.net. I've tried a few and they just don't work and they aren't intuitive and use a separate menu and not just a selection. It seems really simple to me so I find it hard to believe it doesn't exist but that I just can't find it. I've created a visual of what I mean. If anyone knows a tool that'd let you bend and curve selected pixels I'd be grateful.
It's been some months now and Paint.NET hasn't been able to detect my huion tablet pressure sensitivity (it used to work), I have turned windows ink on and off and updated Paint.NET but nothing seems to work (the problem isn't of the tablet itself cause it works in other apps).
Does anyone have a fix for this issue?
